Founded in July 1994 by pro skateboarder Jeremy Klein, 
Hook-Ups first began as a simple T-shirt line 
celebrating a few of the things he was into at the
 time such as Japanese anime, girls, video games, ice 
cream, candy, and skateboarding. With the initial
 popularity of the T-shirt graphics, Hook-Ups soon
 branched out into a full line of skateboards. Under the
 art direction of Jeremy, the brand has since evolved 
from its traditional anime roots to create characters 
and an art style all its own. Over the years, Hook-Ups 
has created hundreds of distinct graphics, many of
 which are now highly sought after by collectors.
